2025 will mark the 50th year of a partnership between one of the oldest motorhome dealers in the UK and a prestige motorhome manufacturer, Rapido Group of France. .

Set in the boundaries of the stunning Gorrick Plantation just outside of Wokingham in Berkshire, our motorhome dealership is far from a typical dealer. The motorhomes are displayed in a rustic setting rather than a flashy showroom and we prefer a cosy chat around the dining room table rather than an arm-wrestle over a sales desk!

70 YEARS OF HISTORY
RAPIDO was founded in 1948 by Constant ROUSSEAU, a creative person and craftsman cabinetmaker who was familiar with high quality materials and worked with every type of wood. In 1961, for his own holidays he invented and manufactured a canvas folding caravan that rested on achassis, which could serve as a trailer the rest of the year.
THE SAME PASSION FOR 3 GENERATIONS
Pierre ROUSSEAU joined the company in 1976 to work with his father. He immediately thought of designing motorhomes. The first model left the factory in 1983: this was the Randonneur 410. In 2014, Nicolas ROUSSEAU, Pierre’s son joined the company and took over the management of sales and marketing. The passion for this product has been kindled in a third generation.
